More than 300,000 pilgrims visit Paray-le-Monial annually. They are welcomed by the chaplains of the Emmanuel Community. They have received their mission from the Bishop of Autun to welcome pilgrims and propagate the message of Paray. A team of several priests and lay people work throughout the year to offer a spiritual welcome to many groups and dioceses that come as pilgrims. They are also active in sharing the spirituality of the Heart of Jesus through conferences, parish missions and the publication of a magazine.

The sanctuaries propose retreats and invite all who are interested during the year to a variety of spiritual meetings, festivals, and encounters (Paray-le-Monial Encounters, Christmas Encounter).
